Non-Immigrant Visa "ED"

Purpose of visit

• For education, including training, doing an internship, and attending religious activities 

Documents required

• Passport or travel document with validity of not less than 6 months prior to departure and its copy
• Three completed visa application forms
• Three recent passport-sized photographs of the applicant
• Proof of residence in Nepal (for non-Nepali passport holders only)
• A copy of confirmed airline ticket indicating the date of arrival to Thailand 
• Evidence of adequate finance, e.g. an updated 6-month bank statement with a minimum blance of THB 20,000 (NPR 80,000) per person and THB 40,000 (NPR 160,000) per family
• A copy of a school’s profile, registration or license in Thailand [In case of training, doing an internship, and attending religious activities, please provide the host organization's profile, registration or license in Thailand.]
• Letter of acceptance from the concerned schools/universities or institutes in Thailand indicating length of stay and the applicant’s field of study or visiting program
• Proof of enrollment (if applicable), i.e. transcript, tuition fee payment, course registration
• For students of higher education institutions in Thailand, a police clearance certificate issued not longer than 3 months is required, except for the Royal Thai Government's scholars, TICA's scholars, and approved AIT students.
