Purpose of visit

• For performing official duties

Documents required

• Diplomatic passport or UN passport (UN Laissez-Passer), which is equivalent to a diplomatic passport, with validity of not less than 6 months prior to departure and its cop
• Three completed visa application forms
• Three recent passport-sized photographs of the applicant
• Proof of residence in Nepal (for non-Nepali passport holders only)
• Letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or from the embassy of the applicant’s country or from the agency or organization of the UN. The letter must clearly specify the name, position and purpose of the trip.

Validity of a visa

• 3 or 6 months, at the Embassy’s discretion

Period of stay

• Not exceeding 90 days
