On 4  October 2023, Ms. Manusavee Monsakul, Charge d'affaires and an official of the Royal Thai Embassy, Kathmandu attended a closing ceremony of the " Love for Humanities by Siriraj" which is a charitible project with an aim of performing knee surgeries on patients with financial difficulty. The ceremony was held at Siddharthanagar City Hospital, Lumbini.

Between 1-4 October, the Thai medical team successfully performed knee surgeries on 30 patients. During the ceremony, patients were invited to participate and stand on their feet, symbolizing their initial steps toward recovery. Joy and gratitude on their faces as they could walk again were touching.

During the event, notable guests in Lumbini gave speech, expressing their appreciation for Thailand's efforts in organizing this charitable activity, while Charge d'affaires stressed cordial ties between Thailand and Nepal, the importance of Lumbini which is one of the main places for Thai pilgrims to visit and the possibility for future collaborative efforts.
