On 24 March 2025, H.E. Mr. Suwapong Sirisorn, Ambassador of Thailand to Nepal, attended the Golden Jubilee Celebration of Nagar Mandap Srikirti Vihar on the occasion of the completion 50 years of its establishment. The Nagar Mandap Srikirti Vihar was built in 1974 by Venerable Bhikshu Sudarshan, former Secretary-General of the Nepal Sangha Council. The former Supreme Patriarch of Thailand and the Thai Sangha supported the renovations and activities at the temple on various occasions. On this occasion, the Ambassador also joined the opening ceremony of the statue of Venerable Bhikshu Sudarshan.
