On 25 March 2025, H.E. Mr. Suwapong Sirisorn, Ambassador of Thailand to Nepal, paid a courtesy call on the Right Honourable Mr. K P Sharma Oli, Prime Minister of Nepal, at the Residence of the Prime Minister of Nepal. Both sides discussed various issues to strengthen relations and promote cooperation between the two countries, including people-to-people relations, tourism, trade, investment, technical cooperation and development cooperation as well as the upcoming Sixth BIMSTEC Summit and the Official Visit to Thailand on the same occasion.
