Thai Ambassador handed over the medical equipments donated by the Thai Red Cross Society to the Nepal Red Cross Society

On 22 July 2021 H.E. Mr. Vosita Vorasaph, Ambassador of Thailand to Nepal, on behalf of the Thai Red Cross Society, handed over medical equipment to Prof. Dr. Bishwa Keshar Maskay, Vice-Chairman of Nepal Red Cross Society. The said medical equipment was donated to the Nepal Red Cross Society to assist Nepal in her fight against the COVID-19 outbreak. On the same occasion, Dr. Maskey expressed his appreciation to the Thai Red Cross Society and the Thai people for providing assistance to Nepal in this period of pandemic outbreak. The Nepal Red Cross Society would further utilize this medical equipment to assist Nepali’s people affected by the current pandemic outbreak.

The aforementioned medical equipment consisted of 16 oxygen concentrators, 150 pieces of fingertip oximeter and Personal Protective Equipment, which comprised 800 pieces of coverall cloths, 2,800 pieces of paper caps and 3,200 pieces of N95 masks. In addition, this medical equipment were delivered to Nepal via Shree Airlines’ cargo flight (SHA4380).
