On 10 April 2021, the Royal Thai Embassy in Kathmandu organized the Songkran (Thai New Year) Festival at the Ambassador’s Residence. The main activities consisted of a water ceremony upon the Buddha statue and senior guests, as well as a luncheon hosted by the Ambassador. About 50 persons including Thai nationals, their families and foreign guests attended the event.
